About Honey
Meet Honey - Sweet, Sassy & a Little Bit Blindle Honey got her name because, well... she's sweet as honey. But don't let that fool you - this 12-month-old Kelpie cross is full of delightful contradictions
She's not quite black, not quite brindle. so we re calling her blindle
She's energetic. but also loves a cuddle (and snores like an elephant)
She's a little shy at first... but once she's comfortable, her delightfully cheeky, playful side absolutely shines
She's sweet... but carries a cheeky little packet of sass in her back pocket.
She's not tiny... but definitely not big just perfectly Honey-sized
Honey loves other dogs,
so much so that we'd love to see her in
a home with a friendly playful doggy sibling to show her the ropes (and join in her endless games of chasey).
She's also a total people-dog who bonds fast and hard. She'll thrive in a home where she's part of the action, not left alone all day. True to her Kelpie roots, Honey is razor sharp, food-motivated, and quick to learn. She's already picking up her. manners and will shine with someone committed to giving her boundaries, exercise, enrichment, and love.
She has been known to pull the occasional Houdini move, so secure fencing is non-negotiable. She's not trying to escape — she just really, really wants to be where her people are. Honey thrives when her humans are around, so a home where someone is often at home (or where she has a doggy companion and routine) would be ideal.
She can get a little overexcited at times, so she'd do best' in a home without very young kids.
Her dream home?
• Active but calm
Patient, kind humans
A doggy best mate (ideally similar size or bigger - the the
tinv ones ouzze her!)
A home where someone is around more often than not
(or with a doggy friend to keep her company)
Adventures, training, playtime, and snuggles
Honey has already come such a long way, now she just needs the right humans to walk alongside her - to help her feel safe, seen, and truly at home.
Is there a Honey-shaped space in your life?
