About Cory
Cory is a handsome brown tabby with a story as resilient as he is. Found as a tiny, sickly kitten who couldn't fend for himself, Cory has been lovingly cared for since day one. With lots of medical care and a nurturing foster home, he's grown into a sweet and playful young cat. Though he has one vision-impaired eye, it doesn't slow him down or dull his love for life, he's ready to find his very first forever home.
Whether it's a cardboard box, a blanket fort, or a special nook in your home, Cory adores curling up in snuggly spots where he feels safe and secure. Scrunchy toys are his absolute favourite, and he'll happily bat them around or chase after them. He's full of life and curiosity once he's in his comfort zone.
Now that his sister has found her home, Cory is adjusting to being on his own. He's a little shy in the shelter environment, especially when visitors pass by his enclosure, but with love and patience, he'll blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion.
Cory would thrive in a quiet, patient home where he can adjust at his own pace. He needs a family who understands that his initial shyness isn't forever and who'll give him the time and love to feel comfortable. He'd do best in a home with cozy spots to retreat to, plenty of toys to play with, and an adopter who can appreciate his unique personality. His past experience with his sister suggests he may enjoy a feline companion, but he'd also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only.
Cory may not be the first to run up and greet you, but he'll be the one who quietly steals your heart. His resilience, sweetness, and playful spirit make him an unforgettable companion who just needs the right person to see past his initial shyness and give him a chance.
If you're ready to give this brave little tabby the love and security he's been waiting for, Cory is ready to be your loyal, lifelong friend. 🐾💛
