Hello, human! Is that food? No? Are you sure? Well, I’m Hiei, a cat with a love for all things food, fun, and safe nooks to call my own. My journey has taken me from scavenging scraps behind shopping centres to dreaming of a forever home. And let me tell you - indoor life is paw-sitively amazing!

Nature
My past made me cautious, but it also sparked my curiosity! I’m always intrigued by what humans do, though I like to keep an eye on you from my cosy hiding spots. If you catch me sneaking a peek, I’ll act like I wasn’t up to anything at all - cat’s honor. But when it’s mealtime? Oh, you’ll know! My serenades are second to none.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
🐾 Hiei’s Ideal Squad:
• Cats: YES, please! I grew up with other kitties, and I adore feline companionship. A friendly cat sibling would make my heart sing.

• Dogs: Calm, cat-savvy dogs are fine by me! I even give polite nose boops to the mellow dog in my foster home. The bouncy young one, though? Nah, not my vibe.

• Kids: Little humans can be a bit much for me, but older, respectful kids? They sound like my kind of people!

🎾 Hiei’s Favourites:
• Toys: Bouncy balls with bells? OBSESSED. I’ll bat them around like a pro athlete and keep myself entertained for hours. Midnight play sessions? Absolutely!

• Food: I take my meals very seriously (streets life habit, you know). A puzzle feeder keeps me challenged and slows me down - it’s a win-win!

My PURR-fect home would be in a quiet home with a friendly kitty companion, older kids, and maybe a chill dog. While I’m still learning to trust humans, I warm up with time and patience. With your love and care, I’ll be your most playful, loyal companion. Ready to meet me? I can’t wait to find my forever home, and maybe a forever spot on your couch, too! 🐾

*Hiei’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Hiei has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Hiei will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
