🐾 Meet Conrad – Your Goofy, Loving Best Mate! 🐾

Hi, I’m Conrad—a handsome, affectionate, and cheeky boy looking for a home where I can shine! I’m a playful, loving pup who adores people and other dogs, and I’m learning how to be gentle around cats too. I have a big heart, a floppy black ear (my white ear with black spots sticks up straight!), and an ever-growing list of quirks that make me extra special. My foster mum says my ears are a bit like me—one part serious, one part silly—and that pretty much sums me up!

I had a rough start to life, rescued from a regional pound, but you wouldn’t know it now. I’m curious, fun-loving, and ready for adventure. I love zooming around the yard, wrestling with doggy friends, and cuddling up when the day is done. I’ll happily join you for a snuggle, nudge your hand for some love, or roll around on the floor for a belly rub. My favourite things are soft toys (though I do like to rip them up!) and following my humans around to see what they’re up to.

I’ve met some little humans recently and did really well! I gently followed my foster mum’s friend’s daughter around, even giving her a nudge when she was sad, like a supportive bestie. She covered me in stickers, and I just lay there, soaking up the attention—because really, how can anyone stay sad with me around? I still get excited and might jump up sometimes, so I’ll need a family who understands I’m still learning my size and manners.

I sleep in a crate in my foster mum’s room, but lately, I’ve been enjoying my bed a little too much—some mornings I just don’t want to get up! I’ll stretch, demand a head rub, and lay back down like a teenager who needs "just five more minutes, Mum!" I’m getting better at not barking at things like the lawnmower—after a stern warning and a little time to process, I realised it wasn’t such a big deal and got on with my day. I’m a fast learner and would thrive in a home that continues to guide me with kindness and patience.

During the day, I’m happy to spend time in the yard, especially if I have a doggy friend like my foster sister, Merry, but I could adjust to being an only dog as long as I get plenty of love, attention, and playtime when you’re home. I’d love a family that includes me in their lives and doesn’t leave me alone for long periods. A secure yard is a must for me, as I love to jump up on the fence to see what’s happening, though I don’t try to escape.

I’d also prefer to be an inside dog more often than not. I love being part of the family, cuddling on the couch, and snoozing inside—especially after a busy day of play.
