PROFILE AND NEEDS IN A HOME
Meet Biscuit, our delightful little princess who will captivate you with her gentle charm and graceful presence. Though she may initially appear reserved, you'll soon discover that she has a heart full of warmth and playfulness that's eager to shine. Biscuit is the kind of pup who makes it worth the wait to earn her trust; once she settles in, you'll find her soliciting your attention for pats and engaging in light-hearted play with an irresistible wag of her tail.
While Biscuit may be smaller than her brother Baxter, she more than holds her own. With a thoughtful nature, she takes her time to assess situations before diving into new activities, showcasing her intelligence and inquisitive spirit. This insightful approach means that when she's ready, her enthusiasm for exploration and playtime is utterly infectious. Her tenacity in games, especially with her brother, reveals her playful and competitive side, adding even more to her delightful personality.
We do not know Biscuit's exact breed, best guess at their breed mix is Foxy/Cattle and perhaps Corgi, we do know she is sugar and spice and all things nice with a bit of usual energetic puppy mixed in.
We estimate that Biscuit will grow to be between 10 and 15kg at maturity. Of course, she may be a bit smaller or a bit bigger.
Their mum Precious is around 9kg, we do not know who dad was and he may have been a bit bigger and stockier than mum. We have attached a photo of Precious
The first 14-16 weeks of a puppy’s life are critical in how they’ll manage stress as adults, if they experience too little, too much or too many negative experiences, they will take this with them for life.
Her foster carer says that Biscuit has been an absolute delight to help raise from the tiny puppy that arrived into care with her mum Precious and brother Baxter. She has hit every development milestone early and is extremely adept at soliciting cuddles from anyone nearby. She settles quickly when faced with new experiences and goes with the flow of whatever is happening around her.
Biscuit isn't just about relaxation; she's keen on an active lifestyle and will thrive in a home where she will go on daily walks, explore new places, and eventually join in on adventures to parks and beaches. Her ideal family would be one that is energetic and loves exploring new places, ensuring she gets the interaction and stimulation she craves.
We will only rehome Biscuit to a home who we feel is capable, willing and sensitive to the needs of Biscuit and who will continue her training and socialisation using only force-free reward-based training methods. Biscuit's new family must also be prepared to commit to working with a force-free trainer to assist them with Biscuit's development in her early months which will help her develop into a well rounded canine citizen. We can recommend a trainer.
Like all of our pups, Biscuit must have access inside at all times, be permitted to cuddle on the couch and sleep inside of a night.
As Biscuit is only young and will need regular supervision and training, we are looking for a home where her new family are not away for long periods of time.
If you're looking for a companion with a balance of thoughtfulness and lively exploration, Biscuit could be the perfect addition to your life. This little lady brings a gentle yet spirited energy to any home, making every moment spent with her a true joy. Get ready for a heartwarming bond full of adventures, cuddles, and the quiet moments when she looks up at you with those gorgeous eyes filled with trust and love.
If you would like to meet Biscuit, please MAKE SURE you also send us an some detail on yourself and the home you are able to provide including your, your dog and any other pets (if any), family members, lifestyle, exercise and mental stimulation you will provide, how often Biscuit would be alone, where she will have access in the home, where Biscuit would go if you went away and could not take her with you, ability to cover vet expenses, and confirmation that you agree to continue the important puppy training with one of our approved trainers so that we can see if you’re a good match for Baxter
