About Tucker
Meet Tucker, the wirey little floof with a big personality! This confident and spirited Border Terrier is on the lookout for a loving family to call his own and will have them wrapped around his little paw in no time. Tucker is a playful and active little guy who thrives on exploration and adventure-whether he's ferreting around outdoors or turning everyday activities into exciting games, he's always up for fun.
Tucker would be a great fit for a multi-dog household with a similarly-sized buddy to share his adventures with. He might also enjoy a home with kids aged 10 and up, where he can join in the fun without being overwhelmed. This young, energetic terrier is far from ready to retire-he's eager to keep living life to the fullest and embrace all the joy that comes with being a terrier!
If you're ready to give this little dynamo the love, attention, and fun he craves, Tucker could be the perfect addition to your family. Don't let his small size fool you-he's got a big heart, and he's ready to find a family that'll match his enthusiasm and zest for life!
To book a meet and greet with this gorgeous boy Tucker please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, Inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
