About Monty rsta012636
Meet Monty, the incredibly handsome and charismatic Bengal with an uncommon flair. Adorned with striking brown spots and a unique touch of silver around his neck, he is truly a sight to behold. Monty embodies the captivating Bengal traits of being outgoing, demanding, and sometimes a touch stubborn, all wrapped up in a package that's equal parts friendly and inquisitive.
Monty's keen intelligence isn't just for show—he is adept at opening drawers and cupboards, adding a bit of intrigue to his daily explorations. While this curious nature keeps him entertained, Monty loves nothing more than being around his people. He's affectionate and quite vocal about demanding attention, possessing a big personality that refuses to go unnoticed. Because he thrives on companionship, Monty would do best in a home where someone is present most of the time, ideally with individuals who work from home or have a flexible schedule.
Monty makes it clear that he's not interested in sharing the spotlight. He prefers to be the sole four legged family member, relishing in undivided attention from his chosen humans. A natural charmer with a bit of a ‘ladies' man’ reputation, Monty is quite selective about who he chooses to share his life with. He may express a strong preference for women and has been known to show a clear dislike for certain individuals. As a result, it’s important for all potential family members to meet Monty, ensuring the chemistry is mutual.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
