Slim

Slim is a very affectionate and inquisitive little lap dog who loves a cuddle!

He's full of personality, with a playful and adventurous spirit. He loves his plush toys and it has been adorable watching him go from shy in the pound to playful and cheeky!

Whether he's exploring new smells on a walk or burrowing under blankets for a nap, Slim is happiest when he's close to his favourite people! We are asking for someone home more often than not, he can’t get enough of his humans 💞 and wouldn’t do well with full time worker setup.

With his loyal and loving nature, Slim is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a dog who will shower them with love.

Slim is well-behaved overall inside the house. While he might occasionally snag a stray sock or pair of undies left on the ground, he doesn't chew on furniture or cause any major trouble. He's fairly well toilet-trained but benefits from gentle prompts to keep him on track.

Most of the time, Slim is either curled up for a nap or snuggling up for affection, making him a calm and loving presence indoors.

Slim is also crate trained and does amazing overnight!

Slim is quite the active little dachie! He enjoys two walks a day, which helps keep him well-stimulated. He also loves playing in the yard with toys, balls, and sticks, and he enjoys doing zoomies.

Slim is well-behaved around other dogs. Another small dog to become his bestie would suit him well 👬

He was very shy when we got him but came around super quickly with cuddles and lots of treats! He may also take a while to adjust to other people in the house, whether they are housemates or visitors. The same approach will work well in these situations

He loves to snuggle up to you and is always happy to see you. It’s also adorable to watch him do laps in the hallway with a big stuffed animal.
