Darling Gizzie would like a special all female home due to his extreme fear of men. After a difficult start to life he is slowly starting to learn how to trust. He needs kindness,calmness and patience to allow him to reach his full potential.

Once he knows you and loves you he is very cuddly and affectionate. He will happily snuggle into you on the couch and sleep on your bed with you. His big,beautiful eyes can see into your soul!

Gizzie arrived into care hypervigilant, and although he has made a lot of progress in foster care he can still get easily overwhelmed if there is too much stimulation or noise. He therefore needs a calm environment to feel comfortable. He will bark at noises but stops when asked to.

Gizzie is still learning about and wary of the world around him. Everything is new to him. He now loves his walks but they need to be in quieter areas. Too many people frighten him.

Gizzie gets along well with other dogs as long as they don't get in his face. He adores his foster brother. He would love the company of an easy going dog to help build his confidence but this is not essential.

Gizzie is now toilet trained and has learnt how to use the doggy door. He loves treats. He enjoys car rides and just being with the people he loves. Secure fences are a must have as he will dig out to find his people.
