Missy is a beautiful, senior American Staffy cross, approximately 6 to 8 years young, weighing in at a perfect medium size of 27kgs. With her loving nature and soft, soulful eyes, Missy will steal your heart in an instant! She’s a low-maintenance sweetheart who simply wants to be near you, soaking up affection and offering unconditional love.

Missy’s story is a bit of a mystery—she was picked up as a stray, and we can’t believe no one ever came to claim her. Based on her demeanor and health, her estimated age is around 6 to 8 years, but she could possibly be a little older. Regardless of her exact age, Missy still has so much love to give and is ready to find her perfect forever home.

Missy’s easygoing nature makes her the ideal match for a quiet and relaxed home, ideally suited to a retired individual, couple, or a family with older children who can appreciate her calm and loving demeanor. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, showing no reactivity or confrontation—just kindness and warmth. Whether she’s an only dog or has a furry sibling, Missy will be perfectly content as long as she has loving humans to share her days with.

Missy is house and toilet-trained, sleeps happily on her own bed, and doesn’t hop onto furniture unless invited. She’s truly a homebody’s dream—quiet, affectionate, and always ready to brighten your day.

Missy’s favorite activities include chasing after a tennis ball, enjoying frequent belly rubs, and going for leisurely strolls. She loves having her own cozy bed in a peaceful spot near her favorite human, where she can nap and relax. Missy is treat-motivated, making her an absolute delight to reward for being the good girl she already is.
While she’s generally unbothered by the world, Missy isn’t a fan of loud noises like fireworks or motorbikes. She doesn’t panic but may vocalise her discomfort or whine softly—reassurance from her family is all she needs.
