Nature
Nyxee has turned into a real cuddle bug. He has a “spot” (right in front of the back door) where you MUST pay your tribute of pats and belly rubs before passing like he’s some sort of tollmaster. He has started seeking affection and will come up to sit on his carer’s lap at night in front of the TV and will ask politely for pats before lying down and snoozing.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Nyxee loves his foster brother and they are often cuddling throughout the day when his carer works from home. He love to go to a home with another cat!

Nyxee is untested with children or dogs but should be comfortable with gentle, young children.

Likes / Dislikes
He’s a total guts with food and is fed separately as he will steal food right off his Foster Bro’s plate. He gets biscuits in a puzzle toy that he has to work very hard to empty. Nyxee adores people food, so you must make sure to protect leftovers and bread. He will take treats on his hind legs like a T-Rex!

Nyxee still doesn’t really like being held for extended periods of time but he does not have an aggressive bone in his body, has never scratched or bit, and will just wriggle to get out if he’s done with cuddling. He lets his nails be trimmed and has been bathed once or twice, which he’s tolerated.

My PURR-fect home would be one with another cat or more. I have boundless energy but I’m not demanding to play - just for more pats. I’m a clever cat and enjoy puzzle food dispensers.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
