About Duke
Hi! My name is Duke and I am a black and tan Kelpie! I love nothing more than a good belly rub!
I love getting attention from my foster human and playing in the garden. I am a happy and playful boy and although I can be a little bit shy at first, my foster mum says that I am building more and more confidence every day!
My foster mum says I am very smart and learn quicky. I am eager to please and have already learnt to sit, lie down and wait for my food. I will come when called and walk nicely on a leash. I have also started crate training and am doing well!
I am good with cats and other dogs and would benefit from a home that has another doggy mate for me to play with. As a working breed, I need plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation. I am looking for an active family that can include me in their daily lives and adventures. I am not suited to apartment style living and need a yard where I can play and hang out during the day. I hope to find a family who will continue to help me on my training journey and keep building my confidence!
I can’t wait to find my forever home!
Duke is located in QLD.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
