Sticky Date has lots of roly poly happiness and affection on offer. He can take a little bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he’s comfortable he’s back to his happy-go-lucky self. He’s started walking well on a lead, other than still mastering straight-line motions, and has started to understand some commands such as ‘stay’. While he doesn’t like getting in trouble, he still has some cheeky puppy habits, such as a limited awareness of ‘table manners’. Although it’s all wrapped up in a placid personality and adorable appearance.

Sticky Date loves being around his people as much as possible, so would be particularly well suited to a home where there’s regular human interaction. He really loves one-on-one cuddle time and will snort with satisfaction when it’s on offer. Although he’s pretty accepting of sharing human affection with his fellow dog residents. He has a healthy appetite and enjoys chewing sticks and a range of other chewable treats and objects. He has quickly learnt that outside is where you go to the toilet, and holds on overnight most of the time.

Puppies need families that are prepared to help them become the best dogs they can be. That means lots of company, socialisation, training, exercise, enrichment and love. Being so young they will adapt to most households but will need either another dog friend or a human home for most of the time while they settle into their new homes. We recommend all puppies go to puppy school so that they (and their owners) can learn all about manners and how to help a dog adjust to their new homes.
