Bruce - 3 Year Old French Bulldog (Hold)

Meet Bruce, a gorgeous three-year-old French Bulldog. He adores people and thrives on attention, especially when it includes a morning tummy rub.

He’s a smart boy with good recall and responds well to his name, as well as his occasional nickname, “Brewsky.” Bruce knows basic commands like “sit” and “down” and is currently working on “stay.” He is also making steady progress with toilet training, thanks to positive reinforcement and regular outdoor breaks.

Bruce is currently on a fresh and balanced diet, which keeps him happy and healthy.

He loves sniffing adventures at the park and is gaining confidence on the lead. He is still working on his reactivity to new situations and other dogs, but with ongoing training and patience, he’s making great progress. He would benefit from someone committed to continuing his training and helping him work through his past experiences.

When it comes to playtime, Bruce enjoys a good game of fetch but isn’t particularly interested in squeaky toys. He’s comfortable being left alone for short periods and does well with enrichment activities to keep him entertained.

Bruce would thrive as the only dog in a quiet, calm home. He’s selective with other dogs due to past experiences, having lived in a home where he was bullied. As a result, Bruce now prefers human companionship and isn’t suited for a home with young children.

With ongoing training, plenty of love, and his fresh, balanced diet, Bruce will be an incredible companion for someone looking to provide him with the care and understanding he needs to truly flourish.

Bruce is in foster care at Lambton, NSW. His adoption fee is $700. He is vaccinated, desexed, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
