My name is Ebbie and I was named after a beloved German Shepherd. Why you ask? Well….
I was a tiny tot in a regional pound on the euthanasia list and got rescued at the last minute. I had a huge journey to get to my foster home and this could be traumatic for anyone.
When I was let out of the carrier in my foster home, I boldly strode out without any signs of fear or reservation. I got straight into surveying my new surroundings . I remember seeing my foster mum’s jaw dropping at my antics. I think though , what amazed her the most was the gigantic purr coming from one so tiny. I have not stopped purring ever since. Even today a visitor to my home made the same comment, “ how does such a big purr come from one so little “.
My warmth extends to everyone I come in contact with . I am yet to meet someone that I didn’t like.
So why name me after a beloved German Shepherd ? Shepherds, my foster mum thinks are incredible dogs. Brave, affectionate , and the ultimate family member. That is the highest of praises, but one I have been assured that I absolutely deserve.

Adoption details
Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
