River is my name and my rescue story / life began at my foster home. Yes you guessed it , that’s where I was born. When Silver Lining saved my Mum, they also saved me and my four siblings who were yet to be born.
I was a gorgeous little kitten and l grew into a stunning young lady with an affectionate happy nature. I was adopted into a home where I was showered with copious amounts of love.
Fast forward to today.
Due to circumstances beyond their control my family had to return me back to my original foster mum. It was such a sad day for everyone.
As my world was turned upside down I have to regain my trust and my confidence . I am still that gorgeous affectionate little lady , but I am asking for a touch of patience and understanding.
It won’t be long before I am wrapping myself around your legs, or cradled in your arms, purring away to my heart’s content. No it won’t be long at all.

Adoption details
Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
