Just a baby but wants to be treated like a big girl.

That's the best way to describe KyJan, KyJan loves to be with you and doesn't like missing out on both the boring bits or the fun bits. She is a funny little girl who is happy to be in a crate but she doesn't like the crate door being locked on her. She will cry when the crate door is locked, but when you unlock it, she still sits there and doesn't come out! While she is happy to take herself out to the backyard to play with her friends, she doesn't like being locked out of the house. It only took her few minutes to learn the doggy door and she automatically knew to take herself out to toilet, even in the middle of the night!

Smart and respectful, she learns fast by observing her friends. She sits by the door when its time to go for a walk or just a simple car ride. While other dogs are jumping in excitement, she just sits there patiently as if she knows she needs to wait her turn to be leashed up. Car rides are her favourite! She doesn't mind being in the car and just sits or sleeps, she had not attempted to even jump in the front seat!

When her foster mama is out in the front yard washing and cleaning her car, KyJan just sits patiently and waits behind the screen door for her to be done. No pushing of the door to try and run out, in fact, sometimes when the door is wide open because of moving of groceries, etc, KyJan just sits there and wait as if she knew she hasn't been invited!

In her new home, KyJan would love for her owners to treat her like a big girl, that means affording her the freedom to come in and out of the house and she will show you quickly that she has earned it. She has not put a foot wrong in the house and is just happy to play with her toys, treats and leaves the human things alone. KyJan is pretty calm for a puppy her age, already doing all the right things, she will grow up to be a beautiful calm young lady.
