Meet Scout, your soon-to-be best friend! This adorable canine charmer is a combination of intelligence, calmness, and love bug affection! He is just an amazing pup!
Scout is an incredibly fast learner, always eager to show off new tricks and obedience skills. Already toilet trained, he knows how to sit, stay, wait, shake, and drop. His eagerness to please is often motivated by a tasty treat, which makes training a breeze. Scout revels in calm moments too, making for a perfect balanced pet who offers both excitement and tranquility.
His favorite activities include going for car rides and snuggling up in bed during nap time; he is a true travel buddy. Scout is comfortable around horses, cats and other dogs, demonstrating a unique adaptability and sociability with a wide range of animals. We feel Scout would absolutely be best suited to a home with another playful dog to romp around with.
Ideal for an active person or couple, or a family with older kids, Scout is ready to join you on adventures both big and small. Scout promises to shower you with affection, intelligence, and companionship in every moment shared – truly, the perfect addition to a bustling, loving home.
A trainer recently commented that he is one of the most intelligent dogs she has met and would make a wonderful support or agility dog.
Scout will need a family who are dedicated to continuing his training to ensure he grows up a well mannered, obedient adult dog. He is not a dog to be left alone in a yard all day. He enjoys being part of the family, being inside at night with the family and being able to sleep inside.

Animals can take time to adjust to new people and environments no matter how friendly and loving they really are. We ask you to keep this in mind when meeting our animals (and when you take them home) and not rule them out straight away just because they are not all over you at the first meeting. You could miss out on the most wonderful companion. 💖

Adoption details
We ask that before you apply for one of our animals, you take the time to think through all aspects of having a pet in your home to ensure it is the right thing for both your family and the animal, now and in the future. Please consider how you would approach changes in your home that may affect your pet and how dedicated you would be to keeping/helping your animal when faced with any issues that may arise in the future.

We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in to see if it is the right match.
Before adoption, all of our animals are health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea/worm treated and heart worm tested (where appropriate).
