About Sophia - 3 Month Old Cattle Dog X
Sophia is a very special girl. She is a super fast learner and very eager to please. She enjoys her cuddles with her humans and dogs and will nap allllll day if she could. Her zoomies at the moment are a 10 minute game with her fur buddies followed by a few hours of rest. Sophia is one of the most laid back pups you will ever meet and is a happy go with the flow girl.
Sophia is dog friendly and would thrive in a home with a friendly adult dog to help teach her. Sophia is untested with kids but is very gentle, due to this she would be best suited to dog savvy kids over 8. She will need a grassy yard to run around while she matures, and will not be suited to a courtyard.
Sophia is quickly learning the fundamentals of toilet training although will need ongoing training to ensure it sticks! She is great in her crate overnight and is learning sit and shakes already!
Fun Fact: Sophia is sure she is a human baby and will sleep in your arms exactly like one!

Her adoption fee is $700 which includes desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Sophia is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
