More energetic than his sister. Have learnt how sit and drop (with treat encouragement!) very good at sitting and waiting patiently for his dinner. Quiet and quite well behaved but does love a nibble on easy to reach plants or digging teenie tiny holes if he’s not getting the attention he deserves. Loves to chase the ball and chew toys and quite good at returning them. Goes to the toilet outside and loves coming inside for play time and cuddles. Very good with kids, still learning not to jump but much better once excitement wears off

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
