About Socks
Meet Socks!
He is a very well adjusted and sweet young man. He has a happy and relaxed personality - he loves people, dogs both big and small, food and walks.
He has been around young children, but does tend to jump up to get attention so would need to be around dog savvy kids. He often chases birds in the backyard and is untested on cats.
At his life on a farm prior to this he was around horses, sheep and chooks.
Socks is always ready and raring to join you on an adventure, but also loves to curl up in your lap at the end of the day.
He used to sleep outside at his old home so is still getting used to sleeping inside.
Socks would definitely benefit from some ongoing training - and he's so motivated by food and people this shouldn't be hard at all.
He is crate trained.
He's very excited and eager about life and all the fun to be had, and would benefit from some routine.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
