About Stormie
Meet Stormie!
She is a very small and sweet girl who needs some help with her confidence, but has all the right traits to be a wonderful companion.
Stormie often takes cues from her bro Socks about what to do, but she does also like to sleep in the sun and investigate smells around the garden.
Stormie is very timid and can sometimes be a bit overwhelmed by the world. She can be scared by hands reaching down to pat her and pick her up so she needs a gentle owner who is ready to help her overcome her fears and let Stormie come to them. She is more than happy to run and sit in your lap if you are on the couch or sit on the ground. She also loves to snuggle up in your arms when she trusts you.
Stormie has been loving sleeping in a crate overnight as this gives her a safe space to relax.
She is fine out walking around other dogs, but can get scared of bigger dogs.
Stormie has had a tendency to be quite frightened of some men, but no issues with any women or children she has met.
She is a fast learner and loves her food so in time with the right care she will come out of her shell.
Prior to coming into care Stormie slept outside so is still learning about the luxury of sleeping indoors.
She came from a farm so has been around birds, chooks, sheep and horses.
She would love to find her perfect home.
