Milo is an endearing cutie who loves to cuddle. He is a pretty low-maintenance dog who doesn't ask for much; he just loves being with his people and a regular walk. He would love a home with someone home a lot. If you do go out Milo gets very excited to see you when you get home! Milo is toilet trained.

He gets along well with other dogs; he isn't playful with his fellow doggy friends but rather acknowledges them then keeps to himself.

Like most senior dogs Milo likes doesn't like to be over handled and can get cranky sometimes if he isn't lifted up properly, so he is best living in a home without little kids who might accidentally hurt him. He has lived with tweens/teenagers. He follows instructions well. Milo is quite active despite his age and loves playing tug-of-war with his favourite toys, as well as enjoying his walks. Milo walks nicely on the lead making it a pleasure to take him out and about.

Milo has a habit of sleeping on the floor rather than in a dog bed; although this may be due to the hot weather - he is booked in for a hair cut and groom soon which should make him feel better, and he might then take up the offer of his comfy bed!

Milo has not been cat tested since being in our care, so we are unsure how he behaves around them.

This sweet boy is being rehomed through no fault of his own and is hoping to find a loving, kind home for his senior years. If you think he sounds the right fit for you, please let us know.

Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
