About Thelma
Thelma is a happy-go-lucky girl who’s always up for a walk, a game, or just hanging out with her humans. She’s not fussy about what’s happening — as long as she’s with you, she’s happy. She's affectionate, friendly, and full of character, she’ll often greet you with her signature “happy dance” when she’s excited for company or a bit of attention.
That said, Thelma isn’t a low-maintenance, “set-and-forget” kind of dog. She thrives on companionship and doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long stretches. She’s already had a gorgeous litter of puppies (all now adopted!), and now it’s her turn to find a home where she can shine.
She’s had some training and knows her manners — though she may need the occasional reminder. She's smart and very treat-motivated, so with the right guidance, she’s a quick learner.
Thelma isn’t the right dog for everyone. She’s strong, headstrong, and has a solid prey drive, which is typical for her breed. She pulls on the lead and is always curious about what’s around the next corner, so she'll need someone confident and experienced with large, powerful dogs.
She’ll do best in a home where she can spend lots of time with her people and continue to get the structure and attention she needs. In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving, and seriously fun companion.

Adoption details
The first step towards adoption is to complete our simple adoption/enquiry form so we can learn more about you and your lifestyle and see if that's a good fit for the pet you have in mind.
Completing the form does not oblige you to proceed any further if you don't wish to.
From there, we can arrange a meet and greet and if satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the founder of the rescue group.
