About Knip
If you’re looking for absolute Loyalty you’ve found it.
Knip is a gentle, loving soul with a heart of gold. He’s friendly with all breeds of dog, having previously lived with 6x dachshunds and other kelpies. He's now in foster care with a kelpie and a dachshund.
He is wonderful with children and has been with children as young as 2 all his life.
He has not been tested with cat.
Knip was from a farm, and his previous owner spent 2 years trying to train him to be a working dog, but Knip was having none of it, which is why he's now in foster care. Knip is good with, birds, chooks, sheep, cows and horses as they were all on the farm he grew up on.
He’s only just discovering the world of town living, having never been in a home setting before, but he is loving every new discovery, especially couches. He’s a smart guy who is taking very well to house training and basic commands.
He gives back twice as much love as you give him.
He is an active boy who will require walks. He is still learning to play as this is something he didn't do much of at the farm.
His foster carer is currently teaching him to play fetch.
He is a little wary of water but fine with baths!
Knip would benifit in a home with another dog as he does get a bit lonely on his own.
Hes a bit of a clinger, and onces he loves you, he won't leave you. Just like your shadow.
He'd even be a good suit as a dog who can go to work with a tradie and hang out on site all day.
If you are in need of forever love open your heart to Knip, he won’t let you down.
