About Scotty
Meet Scotty, a six year old beautifully chilled and calm companion who’s ready to bring tranquility and love to your home. This lovely dog walks effortlessly on a loose lead, making daily strolls a delight for anyone lucky enough to hold the other end of the leash.
Scotty is fully house trained and enjoys the company of his human family just as much as he enjoys his toys and the occasional belly rub. His friendly and easy-going demeanour makes him a perfect fit for a serene household. Scotty also enjoys swims at the river, being hydro bathed and groomed. He would suit a home with a young male or female that would be happy for Scotty to be their best big brother and leader. To ensure the best environment for Scotty, he's ideally suited to homes where patience and an understanding of the needs of canine companions are prioritized.
Scotty has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
If you think Scotty could be the next cherished member of your family, we encourage you to pay him a visit. Becoming part of Scotty's new family is bound to bring incredible companionship and joy. Prepare to revel in those peaceful moments he creates, sprinkled with loving glances and lots of happy walks.
Scotty is currently available for adoption in NSW, Queensland and Victoria. If you're interested in making him a cherished member of your family, you'll need to drive with your loved ones to meet him. Should he, for any reason, not be the perfect fit for your family, you would be responsible for either bringing him back to Sydney or helping us rehome him from your home.

We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
