About Pretzel
*In foster care in Waverley, Sydney*
These Pretzels are making us thirsty!! Hehe we couldn’t resist throwing in a joke for this teenagers profile, hope it brought you a smile just like we know she would if you adopted her. Pretzel is a chatty teenager, she’s got energy to keep you and yours entertained at playtime and a spunky personality which means she’s up for pretty much anything. Her favourite activities include zoomies (usually in pursuit of her favourite toy mouse), playing fetch and exploring the mysteries of empty boxes.
While in foster she’s learnt that the recycling tub is also an excellent source of fun in the form of empty containers which could be toys while we sort them out.
My ideal home: I’m still young and full of the joys of life so I’d love a home which will give me full range of the house to explore. I’m happy being safe and sound as an indoor only cat but I do love being able to stare out the window to watch birds and the goings on of the world, like it’s my own personal TV show.
Note: she will provide commentary with her chattering, we haven’t quite worked out a translator for her but we assume she’s making witty comments and keen observations on life.
My energy level: pretzel has typical teen cat energy but if she’s not getting her steps in chasing feathers or making her own fun with shadows and dust motes you’ll find her on my chosen favourite spot on a couch or comfy chair recharging to go again.
Children: pretzel hasn’t met any kids in foster but we think she’d quite like older ones of primary school age and up especially if they’d enjoy sharing a game of fetch Mousey toy.
Cats and dogs: she’s not been tested with dogs but has happily cohabited with other cats and kittens. Pretzel may be a good candidate for a home with a calm canine and humans who can manage a safe and staged integration of the household. In general pretzel looks before she leaps into new friendships (sensible girl really) so will appreciate a controlled and steady introduction to any resident pets.
Like all Maggie's pets, Pretzel is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
