About Raad
Hi! I'm Raad and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR Raad
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM

What I need in my new home:
• BREED KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
• I was a much loved & looked after dog in my last home, however sadly my owner passed away. So i am now in search of my forever family
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• To be allowed inside with my family
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I have a high prey drive so I can't go to a home that already has cats, rabbits/guinea pigs or chickens/ducks as I will chase them
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children due to my large & goofy physique and having never lived with kids before
• No other dogs - I don't mind passing them and saying hi when out and about but I can be dominant especially towards other males
• Cats or small animals as I may find them fun to chase
My best features:
• A super sweet, affectionate and gentle natured boy who craves love
• I have previously (in 2022) been in a board & train program in Sydney for 3 months so I have some solid training behind me
• I know how to sit, stay, come, lay down & shake hands
• I am a well mannered boy who just wants to please you
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch & chasing water from the hose
• I LOVE car rides
• I walk well on lead have previously been taught to 'heel' but i can be quite strong and pull if wanting to get to something
Where I need to improve / Training required
• Due to coming into the shelter undesexed I can be quite dominant towards other dogs, especially other males. Desexing (which has since been done) should definitely help with this once all that pent up testosterone is out of my system. Once i am in my new home and settled in further socialization with other dogs is recommended.
• I have only ever been an outside dog so am not housetrained, however i would love to be allowed inside with my family.
Medical notes
