About Evie
Hi my name is Evie, and I’m a young 11 yr old. I still have a lot of life in me considering my background.
I was living with a hoarder in a unit and had never touched grass.
My owner passed away and I was rescued.
I’m loving life now and have enjoyed living in a house with my foster brothers and going for walks!!
I’ve had many medical procedures since being in care and should’ve had them years ago. I handled them really well.
My best forever home is with another small dog/s a home with a grassy backyard to play. I’m an inside furkid, so I don’t want to be put outside please.
I’m only a tiny little frame but a little chunky. Some people think I waddle like a corgi at the back. Who cares? I’m happy now.
I think I’m getting a summer clip over the Australia Day weekend, which will be great.
One thing you need to know about me is I’m not a fan of big dogs!
Everyone tells me, I think I’m a big dog, and can take them on!! So you need to keep me away from them.
I don’t like dog parks as they overwhelm me! I’m happy with a walk around the block and a great backyard with a fur brother or sister.
I’m on the Gold Coast at Nerang.
Adoption Fee- $450
Medical notes
Evie has had extensive dental surgery (7 teeth removed).
One side of her mammory lumps have been removed as they were the size of plums.
The other side she has tiny, tiny ones, that will stop growing due to her desexing and hormone levels will drop.
She has had 3 major surgeries, so putting her through another one was not beneficial to her age.
Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
