Colin - 6 Month Old Dachshund x Foxie

Colin is a 6 month old male foxie x dachshund puppy. He is a very eager and energetic little man who’s happy go lucky.

He thrives on positive interaction and seeking out affection. He’s showing himself to be very loving and smart. He will gladly play with toys alone or interact with other dogs or people. He is improving with toilet training as well as using a doggy door but this training will need to be ongoing.

Colin is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He has been well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (both small and large) and gets along well with them all. He’s met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.

Colin will grow up to be a small dog. We always recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life with you. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise and training. It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Colin. If you don’t have another dog to keep him company, there needs to be someone in the household that doesn’t work full time.

Colin needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside. He would be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children. You will need to have good fencing with no small gaps. He can’t have rural fencing (e.g. mesh or wire).

Colin is in foster care in Dungog, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
