About Trigger
Meet Trigger,
This young man came from a backyard breeder and wasn't kept in the best conditions and have very minimal human and other animal interactions.
Trigger will need a very special home with patient owners to continue help him build his confidence.
Trigger does not yet like being patted by humans. He gets very scared and runs away when you try to touch him. This is something his carer is working on with him.
Once he's comfortable with you though he will come up and sit on the couch next to you.
Trigger is a very curious and playful boy. Once comfortable in his surroundings he will do zoomies, play with toys (especially ones that make crinkle noises), tug on soft toys and roll around in excitement.
Because he's not had much interaction with other dogs he's not too sure how to act around them.
He's in foster care with 3 medium sized dogs currently. He likes to be the dominant dog and can be a bit protective of his space.
He gets on alot better with the 2 female dogs.
We think a home with a medium-small sized confident female dog who will happily give him his own space will suit best.
That way he can learn from her.
He has met cats through the window at his carers house and is not phased by them at all.
Hes in care with a 6 month old baby and is very curious and gentle with her. We don't see any issues with him going to a home with kids of any age as long as they're respectful of his boundaries and space.
He has excellent recall in his familiar environment and is crate trained.
He also loves travelling in the car.
He has not had any experience walking on lead and this is something that will slowly need to be introduced.
Once he's more confident he will benefit from group training classes.
If you think you're cut out for giving this sweet boy a chance and helping him transform into a beautiful young man, enquire now!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Did receive a teeth clean at time of desexing.
