About Gustavo
Gustavo is a cat of refined tastes and deep intellectual pursuits, with a passion for the finer things in life.
At just 12 months old, he's already developed a discerning eye for the exquisite, whether it's the brushstrokes of Da Vinci or the elegance of a perfectly poured glass of Moët.
This charming fellow is not only a lover of art, but also an expert at creating his own little masterpieces-whether that be in the form of toys, cozy spaces, or simply his captivating gaze.
Gustavo is Looking for:
A home that appreciates the arts and all things beautiful.
A family who understands the balance between quiet contemplation and spontaneous play.
Someone who is as patient as they are passionate about giving Gustavo the love and attention he deserves.
Gustavo enjoys lounging in sunbeams, observing his surroundings with a contemplative air, and, of course, engaging in playful antics when the mood strikes. His medium-length fur adds to his regal, almost painterly presence, making him a perfect addition to any home with a touch of elegance.
If you think you can provide the environment where Gustavo can explore his passions and share his artistic soul, he would be honored to meet you.
Are you ready to let this little master of elegance paint his way into your heart?
To book a meet and greet with Gustavo please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
