Meet Thumper, an adorable Chihuahua cross with a heart of gold. This clever and playful little guy, weighing in at just 8 kg, is a charming blend of sweetness and sass who will quickly become your best bud.
Thumper's shyness is balanced by his love for a comforting, stable environment. He warms up to familiar faces with time and is loyal to those he loves. A home with older, gentle kids and welcoming canine friends would suit Thumper perfectly. With his friendly disposition towards other dogs, he would thrive with a furry sibling to play games and join him in daily backyard adventures.
Older children who understand a bit of learned patience would complement Thumper's ease, appreciating their calm demeanor. Given his cat aversion, Thumper is best suited for a home without feline companions.
This happy little goofball needs a securely fenced yard, ensuring he can safely explore and play to his heart's desire. As an added benefit, Thumper is vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and wormed—meaning he's all set for his new life.
With Thumper in your family, you can expect plenty of love, laughter, and playful energy. Adopting Thumper is more than bringing home a pet; it's about gaining a loving new companion ready to bring joy into your everyday life. With an adoption fee of $495, Thumper is waiting at Coorparoo to meet his new family and embark on his next adventure.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
