About Charlie
**** To apply for Charlie, please visit our website at www.animalrescue.org.au to complete an Adoption Enquiry Form ****
Meet Charlie the Moodle, a devoted companion ready to brighten up your days with love and companionship. Charlie is a gentle soul who has made remarkable progress with his foster carer, gaining confidence with each passing day. While his past was very sheltered, he has blossomed beautifully and is now looking for a new family where he can continue to thrive.
Charlie loves nothing more than being involved in everything you do, always eager to be part of the action and share in life's little adventures. Whether it's meeting other dogs on his walks or experiencing new environments, Charlie is excited to continue exploring the world with guidance and love. His delightful personality makes him a hit with females, and he's working hard on his journey to mastering leash walking and toilet training. At the same time, he's learning the ropes of which objects are okay to chew and which are not.
Charlie loves curling up next to you and falling asleep on the sofa, soaking up all the warmth and affection you have to offer. A loving home where he's not left alone too often would suit him well, ideally with another canine companion to keep him company. Charlie does have some separation anxiety, likely missing the presence of other dogs, so a family with another dog would be wonderful for him.
If you're looking for a dog that brings joy and new experiences into your life, Charlie is ready to step into your home and wrap you in his world of wagging tails and love. Give this adorable Moodle the chance to be your perfect canine companion, and watch him flourish in a nurturing environment.
Charlies ideal home:
- female owner
- he is wary of men, but a gentle male presence is fine
- another gentle dog in the home
- he is still learning some basics of living inside with a family - so his new family will need the patience and skills to help Charlie to become his best self
- he will need access to inside and outside, and he needs to sleep inside
