Meet Ollie, the lovable Maltese, poodle JRT cross who is ready to find his new family. This one-year-old little charmer weighs in at a petite 6 kg and is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed. Despite having an unsteady start in life, Ollie's heart is full as he has embraced all the good that life has to offer from his foster home in Kenmore.
Ollie may be a little shy at first, but he is gentle to his core and ready to open up to the right family, especially if you offer him roast chicken . Ollie is friendly with cats, dogs, and gentle kids, making him a perfect addition to families looking for a sweet companion. His tender, cautious nature is a testament to his resilience. All he asks for is kindness—a small ask for a pup so eager to give love.
Ollie thrives in a secure environment where he can feel safe while not getting into mischief. With a properly fenced yard where he can stretch his legs under the sun but also cozy spots indoors to retreat when he wants some quiet time, Ollie's loveable personality will shine in his new surroundings.
Give Ollie love, care, and a sprinkle of patience, and this shy and gentle boy will flourish, sharing his journey of trust and joy with you every step of the way.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
