Dougie

Please meet Dougie- the boy the cheesy grin and the "milk" moustache.
Dougie is such a fun loving and happy boy, everyday is a joy for Dougie and everything becomes a game. Dougie really has embraced his new life as a family canine companion. His personality is shining through and his cheeky character is blossoming. Life is now good for Dougie.

But life wasn't always so rosy for Dougie and his brother, Wiley. They endured months of cold and misery and hunger before being rescued and taken into the care of Friends of the Hound. Now Dougie shows his infectious joy and love for life often giving the biggest toothy smile.

Dougie gets on well with his fellow greyhound housemates and passes on his zest for fun, encouraging them to join him in a game with the cuddlepillar or a zoomie in the back yard. He loves food and is certainly not a fussy eater. He walks quite well and does enjoy getting out for a stroll each day.
Dougie is a very loving boy and, like most greyhounds, enjoys warm cuddles on the couch with his human. He will often greet you with his funny little toothy grin looking for pats and smooches.
Dougie would love his forever home to include another dog to share fun and games together. He would be happy in a home with a family with older children or a fun loving couple or single person.
