About Cee Cee
We are thrilled to introduce you to our delightful and endearing little titch, affectionately known as Cee Cee. This sweet and joyful young girl is full of life and enthusiasm, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to embark on an exciting new chapter in her life.
Our adorable little girl is a Jack Russell Chihuahua mix weighing in at just over 4 kilos of loveable fun.
Cee Cee’s journey began when she was found wandering as a stray at the tender age of just five months. Due to the challenging circumstances of her early life, she had very limited training before she came into our care. However, since joining us, Cee Cee has embraced the new challenges of training with great enthusiasm and determination.
She eagerly bounces onto her mat for treats, practicing basic obedience skills with her loving family every day. Her progress has been remarkable, and she shows a keen willingness to learn and grow. As she is still a young pup, we are seeking a dedicated and committed family who will continue to nurture her development and help her build a strong foundation in learning. With the right guidance, patience, and support, Cee Cee is sure to blossom into a well-rounded and happy companion, bringing joy and love to her forever home.
During her time in foster care, Cee Cee has been residing with two adults, two teenagers, and her four-legged foster sister, Poppy. Being a pup Cee Cee does the normal puppy jumping and mouthy behaviour As a young puppy, Cee Cee thrives on being around her human companions, both indoors and outdoors. She enjoys basking in the sun or engaging in playful antics with her foster sister. Her diet consists of dry kibble for breakfast and a combination of chicken and prime roll for dinner. Cee Cee is highly motivated by food, which proves beneficial in her training endeavors. She has a fondness for treats, particularly pig ears, although she is enthusiastic about any treat offered to her. At night, Cee Cee sleeps on her mat in her foster parent’s bedroom and tends to wake up early. While she may take some time to settle on certain nights, we believe that as she becomes more comfortable in her forever home, this will improve.
Cee Cee can get very excited during walks. Therefore, it is recommended to begin with short walks along familiar paths to help her understand that there are no threats. Continued exposure to build confidence will come with time
Cee Cee needs slow introductions to unknown dogs but once comfortable she’s happy to socialize. She would love a calm dog to live with. She can be vocal and hyper aroused around other dogs on walks, we are working on walking past nicely without having to say hello to every dog
We believe that dog parks might be overwhelming for her at this stage of her development
Cee Cee has mastered basic commands such as “sit,” “free,” and “on your mat,” and these commands will require continued reinforcement from her forever family. Despite her small size, Cee Cee is far from being a typical lap dog; she is quite the energetic little dynamo! In foster care, she enjoys two short walks a day, engaging in playful roughhousing with her foster sister, and discovering the joys of dog toys and games like fetch and chase.
Cee Cee delights in spending time outside in the yard and, when indoors, she finds her cozy spot on the couch for a nap. She loves to snuggle up with her human companions for daytime naps when they are home. When left alone with her foster sister, Cee Cee has not displayed any destructive behavior indoors. However, without sufficient stimulation, she may dig in the garden, likely encouraged by her foster sister’s example lol.
Cee Cee has only experienced a few short car rides, and while initially uncertain, she settles comfortably in a dog seat and has not experienced car sickness.
Cee Cee has a short easy to care for coat Her toileting habits remain a work in progress. She may have accidents indoors if she does not have access to the outside. On walks, she has yet to learn that she can relieve herself outside the property, so it is best to keep her outside until she has done so after a walk. Like any puppy undergoing toilet training, Cee Cee needs to be taken outside at regular intervals to relieve herself. It is essential to ensure she toilets immediately upon waking.
Cee Cee is an utterly delightful little bundle of love who has been living her best life since coming into foster care. She will flourish in a forever family that provides consistency and routine. Cee Cee needs an experienced dog family who is committed to investing time, effort, love, and care into her ongoing training and development.
