About Marli
Meet the delightful Miss Marli!
This pocket rocket is one busy little bee! As utterly adorable as she looks, this little girl is full of beans, whizz & go-go-juice!
She was a very much-loved pet & through no one's fault, finds herself in shelter now looking for the perfect forever home.
A Maltese terrier x Shih Tzu x poodle, there's quite a bit to consider before applying to adopt our Marli Girl. She needs a good mix of exercise, enrichment & affection. She does long to be a lap dog but also loves games, Zoomies & generally ping-ponging around the place!
She is very small & so decent fencing is essential to prevent her from squeezing through small gaps. She must be allowed to live indoors & will, no doubt, be hoping for a place on your bed!
Her gorgeous black coat will definitely require ongoing care & maintenance. Regular grooming will help keep her matt-free & healthy.
Marli tends to find bigger dogs a bit intimidating. It is important for our dogs to know that we have their back, we will always advocate for them & be their safe space. Little Marli needs some confidence building through slow & positive encounters. She does go for walks, but the world can seem very large & overwhelming to someone so small.
Marli loves her toys & she is so much fun to be around, a real party girl once she feels comfortable in her surroundings.
As popular as little dogs are, we will be vetting prospective adopters very carefully to ensure that we get the right match for Marli. She is such a precious little soul & her young life has had it's fair share of confusion. It is now Marli's time to shine!
