About Laleta
Meet Laleta, the 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a soft grey coat and a heart full of potential. This soft girl's gentle and loving personality will quickly shine through once she settles into your home. Laleta is seeking a calm and peaceful environment where she can blossom into the affectionate companion we know she is.
Laleta's Perfect Home:
Quiet and Secure: Laleta thrives in a serene space, away from the hustle and bustle of a noisy household. She will be most content in a low-traffic home where she can rest uninterrupted on the couch - or better yet on your lap!
Older Kids (10+ years): Laleta is best suited for a home with older children who will respect her space and allow her to choose her own interactions. While she's not one for high-energy play, she'll form deep, lasting bonds with those who give her that chin scratch in just the right place.
A Loving Family: Once Laleta bonds with her family, she will share many affectionate moments. A family ready to offer her gentle care and respect will be richly rewarded with her sweet and loving companionship.
Why Laleta?
If you're looking for a calm, loving cat who enjoys a quiet existence and who will gradually weave her way into your heart, Laleta is the one.
If this grey ghost sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please meet Laleta today! Her gentle spirit is waiting to become part of your world.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
