About Shuna
Meet Shuna: The Loving Lapdog Who’s Looking for Her Forever Home!
Shuna is a playful, affectionate dog who’s ready to bring joy and cuddles to the right family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves to be by your side, Shuna might just be the perfect match for you!
Here’s what you need to know about her:
• Loves kids: Shuna adores children—she considers them her favorite type of human! She’s sweet, gentle, and will make a great family pet.
• Foodie: She’s a bit picky when it comes to food—Shuna prefers her chicken cooked fresh every meal and can’t resist a bit of cheese as a treat!
• Belly rub enthusiast: Shuna loves belly rubs and will happily roll over to get all the attention you can give.
• Playful and fun: She’s full of energy and loves to play with toys—she’s always up for a game!
• Dog-friendly (with some boundaries): Shuna is fine with dogs who respect her space. She had never met a dog before coming into foster care, so she might need a slow introduction, but she’s a peaceful soul who just likes her personal space.
• Cat-curious: She may bark at cats but is mostly fine with them once she’s had time to adjust.
• Grooming needs: Shuna did well at her grooming sessions but isn’t too fond of nail clipping. Regular grooming will help keep her looking her best.
• Cuddly lapdog: She’ll want to sleep with you on the bed—Shuna is all about being close to her human at night!
What you should know:
• Anxiety: Shuna can get anxious, especially when you try to pick her up, and may pee if she’s feeling nervous. She’ll need a patient and understanding owner who can help her feel safe.
• Car sickness: Shuna tends to get a little car sick, so smooth, short car rides are best.
• Barker: She will bark at people coming to the door or walking past, so she’s great at alerting you to visitors!
• Needs lots of attention: Shuna needs someone who is home a lot to give her the love and companionship she craves. She’s a true lapdog and will want to be by your side as much as possible.
• Patience required: Shuna had a tricky transition into foster care and will need a bit of time to adjust to a new home. She’ll thrive with a calm, loving environment and plenty of patience.
