About Buffy
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Buffy sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Buffy is a feline superstar with a personality as vibrant as her stunning tortoiseshell coat. Equal parts sugar and spice, she’s spent years entertaining her humans with cuddles, antics, and her delightful “tortitude.” At home, she’s more than a pet—she’s a household icon, inspiring an exclusive group chat called “Buffyposting,” where her housemates share endless pictures of her throughout the day.
Her days are a charming mix of cozy naps, playful energy, and affectionate snuggles. Buffy loves starting her mornings with attention, eagerly meowing for cuddles as soon as you’re awake. While she’s a couch potato at heart, she springs to life for her favourite toys, like her feather-on-a-stick or whack-a-mole game. At night, she becomes the ultimate cuddle buddy, curling up under the covers or between your legs, adding warmth to chilly evenings.
This cheeky cuddle bug answers to many nicknames—Buffaloney, Wormy Girl, Buffoony, Bubba, and Boo Boo—each reflecting her lovable personality. Whether she’s rubbing her face against yours, licking your fingers, or falling asleep in adorable, odd positions, Buffy knows how to keep her humans entertained and feeling loved.
Buffy thrives in a calm, quiet household with experienced cat lovers who appreciate her blend of independence and affection. She loves outdoor access for birdwatching and sunbathing, and a cat flap would let her come and go as she pleases. With someone home often, Buffy’s playful and social nature truly shines.
If you’re ready to welcome a cat who’s full of personality, charm, and an endless supply of cute nicknames, Buffy could be the one for you. With her playful spirit, affectionate nature, and quirky habits, she’s guaranteed to bring joy, laughter, and countless photo-worthy moments to your life. Buffy isn’t just looking for a home—she’s looking for her next biggest fan. Could that be you?
Medical notes
Buffy is in great health; she recently had dental work completed, which included the extraction of multiple teeth plus a scale and polish to ensure that her oral health was in tip-top shape. Monitoring her dental health at regular check-ups will continue to maintain her overall well-being.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
