Nature
Gabby came into foster care after an extended time in the pound, she was very fearful and untrusting of humans. Fast forward a month and this little girl has learnt to accept and trust humans, and realise they aren’t that bad.

Gabby is such a confident girl now and comes for her stokes and attention, rubbing against legs and purring away contentedly. Gabby loves cats and dogs, and is happiest when she has the run of the house. Gabby doesn’t like to be cornered or forced to do anything against her will, but loves pottering between humans and the other cats. Gabby has the most beautiful personality, she is very inquisitive, which makes for her being more trusting by the day.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Because Gabby is confident, she would be fine in a family situation, providing she is respected, and given space when she needs it. She would also suit couples and single homes.

Gabby is perfect with other cats, the more the merrier, and likes the large dog in her foster home.

Likes / Dislikes
Gabby loves attention. When you have earned her trust, she is yours for life! She loves her strokes and ear scratches and chin rubs. She loves other cats and dogs

Gabby doesn’t like attention pushed on her, she likes to come to you. She loves female humans, and is starting to come around to males. She dislikes being cornered or forced to do anything against her will, as she was trapped and then put in a pound for a long time, so this triggers her. She just needs understanding and freedom to explore and find her safe place in her new home.

Gabby loves her catio, but is fine just in the house too. Gabby loves routine, this makes her feel safe.

My PURR-fect home would be a family or person who is patient and lets me come to them. I love to be part of the action and ideally I would love a cat companion in my new home. A catio would be a big bonus. Understanding and patience from my humans will give me the chance to prove I am a wonderful and faithful addition to the home.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Gabby please come and meet her at Petbarn Canning Vale this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
