About Sriracha
Meet Sriracha, the gorgeous, zesty young Labrador-Kelpie mix who's ready to spice up your life! Sriracha may have had a sheltered start on a rural property, but now she's looking for a patient and understanding family who can give her the time and love she needs to flourish.
While Sriracha is still discovering the world, she quickly bonds with those she trusts and will shower them with affection, love, and playful energy. Once she feels comfortable in her new home, prepare for laughter and joy as you watch her zoomies, tail wags, and adorable nose boops-she's a little ball of sunshine when surrounded by people she loves!
Sriracha's ideal family is one who's ready to slowly expose her to new experiences, showing her the goodness and beauty of life. She's a young dog with an open heart, eager to join you on walks, hikes, and all kinds of adventures as she learns the world around her. She'll work her way into your heart and repay your patience with unending loyalty and affection.

Sriracha would love a calm and tolerant canine companion in the home to assist with her settling and adjusting to family life, but would also be comfortable in an only dog home provided her new owners were happy to involve her in their everyday lives. She will require a little more assistance with lead training, and some basic obedience, but there is no bad in this girl and she is keen to love and be loved.
Sriracha is also available on a foster to adopt basis for residents of Bendigo that may be keen to trial her in their home before formally committing to making her a life long member.
Sriracha will come vaccinated, flea and wormed, micro chipped, registered to COGB residents and her new owners will be provided with 24/7 Petcademy Behavioral Assistance to assist with her transition from the shelter to the couch.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
