Meet Sage. She's a darling but a little shy, so she'll need to be oriented ina small launch room at home, allowing her to settle in before she explores the rest of the house. Big spaces are a little intimidating for her at the moment. Setting up for a successful relationship and a very happy kitty would include Scratch posts/Cat trees, hides (like cardboard boxes and cat igloos), access to shelves/dressers to provide ample safe spaces, both high and low, all around the home. If you're a patient and understanding adopter then you're Safe's ideal family as she'll be timid going into a new environment and may take a little while to settle in before she shows her/his true self! Due to her shy nature, we recommend kids older than 8, who are calm and respectful who can read and understand basic cat body language and know when to give Sage some space.As she's lived in her former home with other cats, she's very cat social and would do well meeting another cat, but best to take their meeting slow and steady.
