About La Brae
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A home with lots of love to give this beautiful boy
La Brae is a four-year-old boy with a heart as big as his paws. This curious, caring, and composed dog is absolutely loving life in his foster home, where he's learning about all the comforts of family life.
At home, La Brae is the perfect gentleman—polite, well-mannered, and fully toilet-trained. He knows his space on the couch, respects boundaries, and stays out of off-limits areas like the kitchen. La Brae shows little interest in human food, so mealtimes are a calm and peaceful experience.
La Brae is well-suited to full-time workers. A couple of short 15-minute walks in the morning and evening are enough to keep him content and calm throughout the day and night. He is a dream to walk on a leash, taking his time to explore and sniff his surroundings. He enjoys meeting new four-legged friends and remains calm and friendly when interacting with them.
An eager learner, La Brae has overcome one of the biggest challenges for greyhounds: navigating stairs! He is comfortable in a busy household but also does well spending time alone when needed. La Brae copes with traffic and other noises, both at home and while out on walks.
La Brae is looking for a forever home where he can share his calm, loving presence and become a valued member of the family. Whether in a bustling household or a quieter setting, La Brae will undoubtedly bring peace and companionship to his new home.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
