About Mia
Meet Mia, a sweet and gentle three-year-old Chihuahua with a heart full of love. This adorable girl may be reserved at first, but with patience and understanding, she'll quickly warm up to you and fill your life with joy. Mia thrives best in a serene environment with a slow-paced lifestyle, making her the perfect companion for those who appreciate calm and content moments. She would be best suited to a quiet home with older children (10+)
Mia is good with other small and calmer dogs and seems to tolerate cats. You'll find her contentedly observing her surroundings from the safety of a familiar space. Although she's too scared to walk on a lead right now, with some encouragement and training, Mia has the potential to gain confidence in this area.
Mia has a soft spot for treats, which can be a great tool to bond with her or teach her new tricks. A little treat can go a long way in winning her over and bringing out her playful side. Once she feels secure in her environment, her endearing personality shines through, and you’ll be charmed by her gentle nature.
If you’re seeking a loving and loyal companion who will blossom in a calm and reassuring setting, Mia might just be the perfect fit for your home. With a little love and care, she will become a wonderful addition to your family, eager to share her heart and snuggle up by your side.
Medical notes
Mia had a dental scale and clean with multiple extractions under GA. Monitor teeth 6-12 monthly
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
