About Salem
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Salem is one of the sweetest and most loving little gentlemen that you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. He absolutely adores human company has a lot of love to give.
He has a very confident personality and will step out of his cat carrier and strut around as if he has been living there his entire life. He will very quickly be rubbing up against you and wanting attention.
Salem loves to be around people and will always want to be a part of what you are doing. As an older gent he is happy to chill out and do his own thing but he will never be far away and always in the mood for a pat and a cuddle when you walk past.
He is a very smoochy little fella who is happy to be picked up and cuddled, love to chill on the couch with you and will sleep on the bed with you if you'll let him.
Salem was well loved by his previous owner but sadly they had to have serious back surgery and could no longer physically look after him. So they made the tough decision to reach to us to find him a new home. He comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.
He has grown up with his two brothers so he is used to being around other cats but he very much had a love hate relationship with his brothers so we think he would love having a house to himself. He has adapted very quickly to his new foster home and is loving being the only cat.
Salem is approximately 12 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little fella with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.
Located in Wantirna South with our amazing foster carers.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
