About Kootenai - 1 Year Old Kelpie X (On Trial)
Kootenai is a stunning 1 year old female Kelpie x who absolutely loves nothing more than laying her head on you and looking at you with her beautiful big eyes. She is very loyal, craves to be close to her human, and would be a wonderful companion.
Kootenai plays well with other dogs and would be best suited to a home with another dog for company or a home where her humans can be near her often (such as working from home). As she is part kelpie, she would suit someone with an active lifestyle. She absolutely loves the beach and has learnt to swim while being with her foster family. She currently lives with a 20kg kelpie and they play well together. She is on the smaller side, weighing only 10kg. Kootenai is also crate trained and has learnt how to use a doggy door.
Everyone who has met Kootenai has commented on how stunning and friendly she is. She would love to sleep resting on your shoulder each night and has learnt “bed time” to mean, go into your own bed. She is a bit of a snorer. She loves to find things in the home to drag outside however she should grow out of this behaviour as she gets older. She only barks when her foster sister barks.
