About Josie
Introducing Josie - I was found abandoned on a property in South West Sydney and a kind couple took me in and gave me lots of yummy food and treats. They noticed that I was getting a fat tummy and it wasn't due to having too many treats, but that I was pregnant. I gave birth to four little cherubs at their home and being elderly they could no longer care for me. I was then taken with my babies to the Animal Holding Facility in Campbelltown where AWL Western Suburbs then took over my care.
Along with my babies we have been looked after and cared for by our foster mum but now it's time for me to find my own furever home. I am a long haired, blue/grey and white princess. I loved being picked up and patted, will happily sit on your lap whilst watching your favourite tv shows and love my wet and dry food. I'm still relatively young for a mumma and would like nothing more than to enjoy my days snoozing on the sofa having a chat with you. If you would like to adopt Josie, then please apply under the Western Suburbs branch.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
