About Chestnut
*In foster care in Summer Hill, Sydney*
If there's one thing Chestnut loves more than anything, it’s exploring the world around him! This curious ginger kitten is always on the go, sniffing, climbing, and investigating every corner of his space. Nothing escapes his attention, and he's constantly setting off on new quests - his adventurous spirit is truly contagious!
While Chestnut is all about his explorations, he’s also a friendly, affectionate little guy. He enjoys a good belly rub now and then, and when he’s not off on an expedition, he’s happy to curl up for some quiet time with his favourite humans.
Chestnut would do best in a home where his curiosity can flourish, with plenty of things to explore and discover. If you're ready for a playful, friendly, and inquisitive companion, Chestnut might just be the perfect match for you! Come meet this energetic, fun-loving lad - he’s sure to bring loads of excitement and joy to your home :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Chestnut is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have plenty of exciting nooks and crannies for me to explore, a hallway or big rooms to race around, and people who'll spend time playing with me and cuddling when we're done!
Oh, and I'd also prefer an indoor-only home to keep my pink nose and ears protected from the sun. If that's not possible, please keep me inside during high-UV days.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Excellent, I reckon!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love other cats, and would likely be happy to live with a friendly dog as long as they're nice to me :)
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
